Johanna Altman, wife of million dollar listing star Matt Altman, has been arrested and charged with domestic violence.
Johanna Altman was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence on August 4, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
She was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
Johanna, 40, was arrested and booked into the Van Nuys County Jail at 9:30 p.m. according to the booking sheet from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department She was let go around 4:30 a.m. the next day
The Altman family's representative did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
When asked about the incident, Matt, 44, told Page Six, which broke the story first, that Johanna's father died of COVID-19.
"It has been absolutely devastating to her and our entire family,"
"We've all been struggling with this loss and going through a tough time," he continued.
"We have never been more in love or more connected as a result of this tragedy. We request that everyone respect our privacy "Matt stated.
Johanna said in an Instagram post after her arrest on Tuesday that she and her husband were "only getting stronger."
"Ups and downs ain't gonna stop anything. Love you so much," the mother of three wrote.
