Six people were shot outside a Memphis hospital early Tuesday, with four of the victims in critical condition, according to police.

According to Memphis police, the shooting occurred around 12:42 a.m. at Methodist North Hospital.

Two victims were taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in critical condition, one of whom is now out of danger, and four others were taken to Regional One Hospital.

According to police, one of those taken to Regional One is no longer in critical condition.

According to police, three victims were detained for allegedly possessing a stolen vehicle.

According to police, all of the victims were shot by suspects in a black SUV. There have been no arrests announced.

According to Methodist North Hospital, no hospital employees were injured during the shooting.

"We appreciate our employees' quick action in directing patients away... so that our security team and Memphis Police Department could respond quickly," hospital officials said in a statement.

We are collaborating with local law enforcement, who are conducting additional investigations.
