The Triumph Speed 400 has been launched in India with an attractive price tag of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom).

It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 398cc, single-cylinder engine known as the TR-series.

The engine produces 40hp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.

The Speed 400 offers performance comparable to the KTM 390 series but delivers peak figures earlier in the rev band.

The design of the Speed 400 takes inspiration from Triumph's larger models, exuding a premium look and feel.

It features a digi-analogue display and can be equipped with heated grips, a rare feature in this category.

The Speed 400 is equipped with 17-inch alloy rims and MRF Steel Brace rubber.

The Scrambler 400 X variant comes with 19/17-inch alloy rims and dual-purpose MRF Zapper Kurve rubber.

At a price of Rs 2.33 lakh, the Speed 400 offers a competitive advantage over rivals like the KTM 390 Duke and BMW G 310 R.
