Chandrayaan-3 Arrival at the Moon

On July 14, 2023, at 2:43 PM IST, Chandrayaan-3 embarked on its journey to the Moon from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

Just a day after the launch, on July 15, 2023, at 9:00 AM IST, Chandrayaan-3 successfully completed its first orbit-raising maneuver, bringing it closer to the Moon.

Over the next few days, Chandrayaan-3 completed the second and third orbit-raising maneuvers on July 17 and July 22, 2023, respectively, positioning itself for the lunar journey.

On August 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM IST, Chandrayaan-3 successfully entered the translunar trajectory, setting its course towards the Moon.

The most critical phase of the mission, on August 5, 2023, at 11:12 PM IST, Chandrayaan-3 achieved successful lunar orbit insertion, a remarkable feat.

On August 6, 2023, at 8:00 AM IST, Chandrayaan-3 moved speedily towards the Moon's orbit, reaching closer to its lunar destination.
